Launch of Omar McDoom’s The Path to Genocide in Rwanda

The first event in the New Books in Perpetrator Studies Launch Series will take place on September 24 at 14.00 CET, and it will revolve around Omar McDoom’s The Path to Genocide in Rwanda: Security, Opportunity, and Authority in an Ethnocratic State (Cambridge UP, 2020). Drawing on interviews with over three hundred Rwandans and new data and analysis at the local, regional, and national levels, the book offers new perspectives on several key aspects of the Rwandan genocide.

The event will be moderated by Jens Meierhenrich. Discussants are Hollie Nyseth Brehm and Jens Meierhenrich.
