On behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts, and Culture, erinnern.at has been working since 2000 to help teachers in all types of schools and in adult education to make learning about the Holocaust and National Socialism relevant for today.

Historical knowledge is employed as the point of departure for addressing different views of history and remembrance cultures, developing didactic methodological competence and reflecting on learning processes.

The website serves as a central information platform and offers an extensive range of learning and teaching materials.
